Story of Diadema

One of the families is from the beautiful province of Tuscany in Italy and the other is a well known family from the Var region in the south of France.

The Italian family has palaces in Florence, a renowned vineyard and century old olive groves in the Chianti area, the other has castles in the Provence, 550 hectares of vineyards and two « crus classés ».

Mr. Fabre from the Provence and Mr. Gianotti, both from noble and great wine growing families, excel in the art of satisfying a global clientele who are amateurs of well known classified wines.

The virtue of these two vintners is their love of the fine things in life, luxury and the rare gift of creating exceptional products.

One day, during a chance meeting, the two men realized that they both had the same passion for wine while tasting a bottle of wine from the Diadema vineyard decorated with diamonds.

The Diadema Collection was created at the beginning with red and white wines from Tuscany and Champagnes and bears the stamp of high fashion and luxury for viticulture.
The collection has been world renown since the Red Diadema 2007 was awarded 95 points by Wine Spectator and was named among the top 100 of the greatest wines of the world.

After their meeting Mr. Giannotti entrusted Mr. Henri Fabre with the exclusive distribution of the Diadema Collection.

The red and the white wines having already been created by the Gianottis all that was left was « the rosé » creation. The Fabre family, with its well known reputation in the Provence and with its' rosé wines of the Côtes de Provence, naturally undertook the project of creating Diadema Rosé.

To make the most of the 90th anniversary of the Fabre company which was created in 1920, Henri Fabre, refined an astonishing rosé, created from a mixture of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault grape varieties; a charming, top quality vintage mixing all the qualities needed in a top rosé wine – pleasure, elegance and voluptuousness. And since all nectars need to have a presentation worthy of its rank, the Diadema Rosé not only has its silky colour but also the diamond signature encrusted platinum on the bottle.
The most elegant rosé bottle of wine in the world (and without a doubt the most expensive) was born.

To be affordable for experienced wine-lovers and gastronomes the bottle of Diadema Rosé will also be produced with Swaroski crystals, a jewel in all senses of the word, to shine on the most beautiful tables of the world.

As a symbol of rare style and excellence, only 10,000 bottles from the 2009 vintage of this noble rosé from the Fabre domains will be offered for sale to a clientele from Dubai to the island of Mauritius via Moscow as well as being bound for other destinations.
